Residents in the newly developed Arabianranta district can enjoy fascinating green areas that are full of historical tales going back as far as 1550, when Helsinki was founded. The area is also home to a traditional gardening centre at Annala Manor. An easy way to discover the “Old Town” (Vanhakaupunki) and the new Arabianranta residential district that was developed between 2000 and 2012 is by following the “Arabia hometown walking trails” Arabian Kotikaupunkipolut.
